Our client, LEMAN OY, is a leading global transport, logistics and freight forwarding company with offices in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, UK, US and China employing approx. 850 employees. The LEMAN Group has launched a growth strategy with a wish to grow both organically and through acquisitions in the countries where the group is already present. LEMAN OY has appr. 35 employees and a turnover of 41M EUR.

People are LEMAN’s strongest asset, and LEMAN OY is currently looking to expand the team in Finland with a new Event Freight Forwarder. LEMAN OY is located in Vantaa (HQ), Turku and Kotka. This position is placed in Vantaa.
 

The Job

We are looking for a Freight Forwarding Agent within Air, reporting to Division Manager Air. You will play an important part for LEMAN to provide an excellent customer service for our customers, agents and network. You are part of a team with 3 colleagues and your responsibility is to coordinate, schedule and route air export and import shipments as well as doing cost estimation and monitor actual costs of the shipments. You will also be forwarding tasks and preparation of shipping documents and handle export and import customs clearance and tariffing. You will also make sales offers, quotes and be billing customers.
 

Your Professional Skills & Experience

You are a customer service oriented, active, and flexible person. You have good teamwork and organizational skills, and you are used to working in a hurry. You have preferably worked for at least two years in air cargo and in export and/or import shipments. As an added advantage, you are familiar with the Cargowise1 operational program, and you also have experience and know-how in customs procedures and the transportation of dangerous goods.
