United Fintech seeks a proactive and openminded German-speaking Financial Professional to join their diverse and innovative team in Copenhagen. This role requires you to have a fundamental knowledge base about German accounting, which can come from either a degree, experience, or both. Your responsibilities will, among others, include:
Oversee general financial accounting tasks for several subsidiaries, including invoicing bookkeeping, VAT handling, and month-end procedures.
Collaborate with local payroll, tax accountants, authorities, and auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting within established deadlines.
Lead initiatives to digitise and automate financial processes for improved efficiency.
Take on finance-related ad hoc assignments and additional responsibilities as needed in a scale-up environment.
Being the ideal candidate, we presume that you possess the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting from a German institution or a bookkeeper with a deep understanding of accounting rules and procedures in German companies.
Solid experience with accounting and VAT obligations in a German business context.
Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
A team-oriented attitude, willing to engage in hands-on tasks and support colleagues.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Deputy CFO, with the possibility of part-time arrangements for the right candidate. The office is located in the centre of Copenhagen.
