The job


Cobham SATCOM’s headquarter with approximately 300 employees is situated in Lyngby, Denmark, where this position as HR Admin & Payroll Manager is also based.  

You will become part of a team of 6 talented, ambitious and helpful HR colleagues, who value dialogue and transparency. You will join an openminded team atmosphere, where sharing knowledge and having fun while working is key. Two of the team members will be
reporting to you:  An HR & Payroll specialist and a Student Assistant.

Apart from your management responsibility, the main objective of this role is to ensure a timely and structured HR administration, delivering accurate data and key figures and - at all times – a 100% updated HR IT system.

Thus, your key responsibilities will be:                                              

  • HR administration from A to Z (contracts, addendums, resignations)
  • Sparring partner on HR employment law (Funktionærloven) and Holiday Act/holiday administration for DK
  • Knowledge person in compensation strategies and benchmarking tools (e.g. Mercer)
  • Project manager on annual merit process
  • Sparring partner to HR Business Partner on large organizational changes
  • Conduct ad hoc bonus calculations and project manager on the annual bonus process
  • Deliver accurate reporting and key figures for HR (attrition, gender split, seniority, general master data etc.)
  • Diligent, timely, and structured HR Admin and master data manager
  • HR Information Systems superuser (Sympa) 

You will have many stakeholders both internally and externally, and the ability to communicate will be essential for your succes in this role.
 

Your Professional and Personal Qualifications


As the ideal HR Admin & Payroll Manager in Cobham SATCOM, your ideal qualifications are: 

  • Min. 8 years’ experience working with HR Operations
  • 2-3 years’ experience working with or in close collaboration with payroll
  • Compensation and Benefit experience
  • English and Danish at business level in writing and speaking - and ability to work internationally across all cultures
  • Must be able to interact with all functions and levels of the organization
  • Experienced in HR administration from A to Z, preferably many years of experience (contracts, addendums, resignations)
  • Knowledge of employment law and the Holiday Act, preferably experience with holiday administration
  • Good IT skills, especially Excel & Word and experience working with HR IT systems
  • Good at familiarizing yourself with new tasks/systems
  • Perseverance and accountability
  • An independent self-starter who takes ownership and has a high energy level
  • Flexible - able to handle changes at a short notice
  • Detail-oriented and structured
  • Creative in terms of seeing the need for improvement and getting it implemented
  • Communicative and collaborative
