For MSI, Landau Headhunting is now looking for a SITE SUPERVISOR to ensure a solid and steady workforce planning and management, crew training and compliance with HSEQ rules and regulations.

The position as SITE SUPERVISOR requires off cause travel activities - offshore, meeting clients and suppliers located worldwide. The Duration of travel vary and also the number of travel days per year.
 

Your main responsibilities


In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Perform QA/QC, plan for any corrections and document findings/results
  • Carry out area inspections, evaluate conditions and report the repair needs regarding Time, Equipment and Manpower
  • Mentor, coach and support current onsite leadership team implementing current and new methodologies and processes/procedures
  • Coordinate any proposed changes to the Scope of Work between the Client and MSI
  • Evaluate workforce performance and guide personnel to increase/improve skills and knowledge
  • Inspect and ensure worksite safety measures are in place prior to any work taking place
  • Communicate and enforce Client/Site HSE plans at min. or if they exceed those, to the work force
  • Prepare Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis’s (JSA’s) and other documents required by the Client/Work Site
  • Ensure all required PPE, general or specialized, is available, always fit for duty and used properly
  • Reporting Hazards, Safety violations, Near misses, Incidents and Accidents to the proper authorities
  • Hold Daily Pre-Job Meetings 
  • Conduct “Toolbox talks” or prepare and delegate to Foreman on a daily basis
  • Execute the planned/approved Scope of Work
  • Communicate and coordinate work with the Clients representative on a Day-to-day basis or as per agreement with Client
 

Your professional and personal qualifications


Being the ideal candidate, we presume that you possess the following experience and qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with operating and maintaining all Surface Preparation and Coating Equipment used by Clients and/or MSI
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing corrosion control projects
  • Proven track record on project, quality, and people management
  • Preferably trained and certified by the manufacturer or an accredited training facility (Hammelmann, FLOW/Surface Jet, DenJet, Clemco, Graco etc.)
  • Willing to travels frequently and with rotation offshore work that is defined by Client/MSI
  • Fluent in English; written and spoken. Polish will be an advantage, but is not a must
Furthermore, you are a highly proficient IT-user of:
  • Templates for Reporting, JSA etc. most of which are MS Word & Excel based
  • Elcomaster® or similar for other brands of Inspection equipment
  • Microsoft Office package work platform
  • Client related software and work methods
  • PDF editor such as Adobe Acrobat®, Nitro PDF or equivalent
It is relevant that you hold Certificates for:
  • ICORR, FROSIO or NACE 2 “Coating Inspectors” – These Certificates are a must
  • Client specific certification
  • Respiratory Protection
  • Scaffold User
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space Entrant (+Supervisor, Rescue and Attendant, if team is actively working)
  • First Aid
