Ca'lyah uses circular design principles and natural materials and strive to become a leading sustainable brand within the industry. Ca'lyah is launching its debut collection in 2019 designed by a distinguished Danish designer. An exciting branding and communication process is in final stages. Sales office is based in central Copenhagen.


The job


Your key responsibilities will be to develop and execute a launch sales strategy that includes both retail partner network channels and direct to consumer channels through pop-up galleries. You will be given the responsibility to build a network of marquee retailer partners throughout Scandinavia, EU an UK. You will be responsible for the entire furniture sales process/cycle from lead generation, initial contact, negotiation, closing deals, relationship management and customer experience. And you will develop training programs and in-store events for the retail dealer network to improve customer experience and sales growth.

Furthermore, your job will include:
  • Ownership of the retail/dealer relationship for the company
  • Accountable for growing business across categories and vertical markets
  • Close priority sales opportunities with the retail dealers
  • Serve first point of contact and coordination with retail dealers
  • Develop retail dealer business plans, terms and conditions
  • Align and validate the retail/dealer forecast and identified activities with the dealer sales leader
  • Track progress toward and update each dealer plan quarterly based on opportunity information, product launches, training roll-outs etc.
  • Lead monthly dealer business reviews regarding sales progress, potential opportunities, upcoming events, etc. with dealer sales management and include internal resources as needed
  • Maintain opportunity sheets for each major/strategic project on CRM
  • Provide coaching to dealer sales teams, people capability, account and opportunity strategy execution, sales performance management, resource allocation and deployment
  • Secure resources and develop and coordinate training plan for each dealer to improve dealer capabilities (sales skill development, showroom branding, new product launch, etc.)
Based on success, the opportunity provides plenty of room for future management responsibility. The company has an ambitious growth plan with investor backing.
