Senior Front-end Software Developer

For FAMSUN’s Danish R&D Center in Aarhus, we are looking for a senior front-end software developer with experience in designing, implementing and testing state-of-the art software solutions with focus on the user interface. You will contribute in taking the company’s front-end development to the next level. You will be responsible for building up the front-end strategy and facilitating the growth of front-end competences in the R&D organization.

Your key tasks will be:

• Use your experience and skills to design excellent user interfaces with FAMSUN’s customers in focus for Web, Smartphones and Tablets

• Be in charge of FAMSUN’s tools, methods, programming languages and frameworks and identify and communicate best practices for front-end software solutions

• Design and implement testable and maintainable software together with FAMSUN’s Danish team of software architects, data scientists, back-end specialists and FAMSUN’s international team of software engineers at the headquarter

• Use your experience to review code and to mentor less experienced members of the teams across the organization

• Work in small project teams using agile methods.

Your competences include:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a front-end software developer. Your experience and competencies are more important than a specific academic background

• You can design and implement digital interfaces that provide excellent user experiences for customers and users

• You know all about current and future web-based front-end software technologies

• You consider yourself an expert in HTML, CSS, Javascript, responsive design, Angular, React, Node, NPM, etc.

• You have designed, implemented and tested full stack software applications, but you are particularly motivated when you work with front-end software

• You have worked in Scrum teams using tools like Jira and Bitbucket

• You must have an open and positive attitude to your colleagues across the entire organization

• You must have a desire to create excellent user experiences and to make an impact in the company

• You are fluent in English.
